2024 DOCTORAL STUDENT FORUM
The 2024 Doctoral Student Forum is held in conjunction with the 2024 Annual Meeting. The date is 26 August with the theme “Data Driven Health Care and Teaching”. We invite PhD students from a range of disciplines across the U21 HSG members to present their work. Applications are due before Monday 25 March 2024.
Please apply with your email provided by your university. Papers focused on the theme Data Drive Health Care and Teaching have priority.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! NEW FUNDING OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENT SPEAKERS!
For the 2024 Annual Meeting, the U21 HSG Executive Committee are launching an initiative to involve more U21 HSG students from member universities to get involved and have an opportunity to attend the U21 HSG Annual Meeting.
We are inviting any health sciences student from U21 HSG Member Institutions to apply to have an opportunity to deliver a 15 to 20-minute presentation about their student-led project / initiative or activity relevant to the theme of the 2024 Annual Meeting. (Examples of student-led projects / initiatives / activities include but are not limited to campaigns, association / club, non-profit entity, development of a tool, research project [MSc / BSc level] and more).
A maximum of two successful applications will be awarded a maximum amount of US$3,000 in total. The amount awarded will depend on the location and travel costs to attend the 2024 Annual Meeting. The funding will cover economy class airfare and accommodation for a maximum of two people from the same application.
