Travel to Hong Kong:

Transfer to the city from Hong Kong International Airport (HKG)

Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) is located 34 km (21 miles) northwest of Hong Kong Island.

Airport Express

To transfer from the airport to the city, it is recommended that you take the Airport Express, a dedicated airport railway line. Trains depart every 12 minutes, between 6 am and 1 am and the trip takes around 25 minutes. The cost one-way is HK $100 per person (approx. US $) or HK $180 (approx. US $) for a round-trip ticket valid for 30 days. The trip to your hotel from Hong Kong station can then be made by taxi. Tickets are available at the Airport Express Customer Service Centre at HKG.

Shuttle bus or limousine

Before you travel to Hong Kong, you can contact your chosen hotel to enquire about a shuttle bus/limousine for transport between the airport or the city and your hotel.

General tourist information

A range of information is available at the official web site of the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
